| 總結: | The article presents a study on the relations between John XXII, one of the most prominent Avignon popes, and Iohannes Grothonis, one of the prelates with the strongest character in the 14th-century Polish episcopacy. Sources from pontifical archives show that Grothonis often addressed the pope, requesting help with local matters, both ecclesiastical and political. John XXII’s answers to the issues he was asked to solve help in reconstructing the nature of the problems (often jurisdictional ones) that led the bishop to address the highest ecclesiastical authority. Most of the pope’s answers to the episcopal letters were positive. The author analyses the problems of the 14th-century Polish bishop in light of the relevant papal documents. Cet article examine les relations entre Jean XXII, l’un des pape les plus éminents d’Avignon, et Iohannes Grothonis, l’un des hiérarques au caractère le plus trempé de l’épiscopat polonais du 14e s. Les sources provenant des archives pontificales montrent que Grothonis s’est souvent adressé au pape pour solliciter son aide dans certaines affaires locales, tant ecclésiastiques que politiques. Les réponses de Jean XXII aux problèmes qu’on lui demandait de résoudre nous permettent de reconstituer la nature des difficultés (souvent d’ordre juridique) qui incitaient l’évêque à s’adresser à la plus haute autorité ecclésiastique. La plupart des réponses du pape aux lettres épiscopales furent positives. L’auteure analyse les problèmes de l’évêque polonais du 14e s. à la lumière de documents pontificaux pertinents. Dieser Artikel untersucht die Beziehungen zwischen Johannes XXII., einem der prominentesten Päpste von Avignon, und Johannes Grothonis, einem der charaktervollsten Hierarchen des polnischen Episkopats des 14. Jahrhunderts. Quellen aus den pontifikalen Archiven zeigen, dass Grothonis den Papst oft um Hilfe in lokalen Angelegenheiten, sowohl kirchlich als auch politisch, ansprach. Die Antworten Johannes XXII. darauf erlauben uns, die Natur der Probleme (oft juristischer Art) zu rekonstruieren, die den Bischof dazu veranlassten, die höhere geistliche Instanz anzusprechen. Der Autor analysiert die Probleme des polnischen Bischofs des 14. Jahrhunderts im Licht der einschlägigen päpstlichen Dokumente. |
