Vatican ii rediscovered the dynamic vision of the total Christ that is the Church stretched between an already existing and a not yet existing, the pilgrim Church, the people of God on the way. The beauty as well as the necessity of the "journey together" experienced since Vatican ii was particularly manifested at the heart of the consultation of the synodal process underway. Listening to the Bishop of Hippo, who developed a spirituality of being together rooted in the communion of grace, the A. reflects on the current synodal process. The Church is under construction, and the synodal process reveals the beauty of "walking together" with the desire of God in fraternal charity. |
