| Summary: | A colloquium of the Pontifical Academy for Life held in 2021 presented a fresh approach to the ethics of life, in response to issues such as contraception and homologous artificial insemination. A reading of the proceedings of this symposium takes up the notions of life and joy from a theological and biblical perspective, and then sets out some criteria for discernment. We also examine the research method, which is characterized by «transdisciplinarity». Does this method make it possible to verify the fullness of the theological act itself, in the service of greater knowledge of the mystery of God and the mystery of man? Un colloque de l’Académie pontificale pour la Vie tenu en 2021 présentait à nouveaux frais une éthique de la vie pour répondre aux questions liées notamment à la contraception et à l’insémination artificielle homologue. Une lecture des Actes de ce colloque conduit à reprendre les notions de vie et de joie dans une perspective théologique et biblique pour en dégager ensuite quelques critères de discernement. On interroge d’autre part la méthode de recherche qui se caractérise par la « transdisciplinarité ». Cette méthode permet-elle de vérifier la plénitude de l’acte théologique lui-même, au service d’une plus grande connaissance du mystère de Dieu et du mystère de l’homme ? |
