Description
Summary:Linking the cry of the poor and the cry of the earth opens up new theological and ethical tasks, of which this article will examine three. Research in an ecotheology of liberation shows us that the Bible can provide a utopico-critical imaginary capable of transforming our ideological imaginaries and our dominating practices. The examination of our relationship to time indicates a de-synchronisation with the time of nature and the time of the poor that calls for a new view of the history of Salvation and the practice of the Sabbath. Finally, the current crisis calls for developing new inner attitudes and in particular the virtue of hope of which the poor are masters.
