Résumé: | The understanding of emotions constitutes a critical challenge for all philosophies, especially for those - such as phenomenology - which programmatically demand the necessary "liberation" of reality from the superstructures of thought. Similar challenges appear even more significant in the case of Michel Henry’s material phenomenology. In this perspective, the paper proposes a reconstruction of Henry’s conception of affectivity and the world, sketching a critical discussion about the internal articulation between these two orders of phenomenality. |
