Description
Summary:Adriana Zarri, an Italian theologian and hermit, lived actively engaged in the ecclesiological context following the Second Vatican Council. Among the distinctive aspects of her thought and way of life, a profound connection with nature stands out: her "garden spirituality," born of her experiences in the hermitages she lived in. For Zarri, grass, flowers, and the fruit of the garden served as means of communicating with God and ways of knowing him more intimately. From this connection with natural elements, various forms of prayer emerged which became part of her theological thought. The systematization of these ideas is intertwined with Laudato si’ in order to highlight the prophetic scope of her thought.
