| Summary: | The article reviews the provisions of the General Decree of the Italian Bishops' Conference of May 2018 that refer to the processing of digital data. After recalling the variety of digital data that ecclesiastical bodies collect and manage, the provisions for registers, archives and filing cabinets are analysed, with attention to ensuring their safe storage and processing. The specific nature of the issues suggests the need for adequate technical assistance in assessing the potential and risks that the use of digital tools, and especially the internet, entails, so as not to expose oneself to serious violations of the right to privacy and good reputation protected by the rules covered by this study. L'articolo ripercorre le disposizioni del decreto generale della Conferenza episcopale italiana del maggio 2018 che fanno riferimento al trattamento dei dati di natura digitale. Dopo aver richiamato la varietà di dati digitali che gli enti ecclesiastici raccolgono e gestiscono, si analizzano le disposizioni per registri, archivi e schedari, con le attenzioni per garantire la conservazione e il trattamento in sicurezza. La specificità delle questioni suggerisce la necessità di un'adeguata assistenza tecnica nella valutazione delle potenzialità e dei rischi che l'utilizzo degli strumenti digitali, e soprattutto della rete internet, comporta così da non esporsi a violazioni gravi del diritto alla riservatezza e alla buona fama tutelati dalle norme oggetto del presente studio. |
